The place is ALWAYS full. However, you can (and should) make a reservation. We were also warned that the service is incredibly slow. Therefore my Wife and I were not surprised when our food came a full two hours after we first arrived (an hour waiting, and an hour between ordering and getting the food). In any other restaurant this would have ruined everything and I certainly wouldn't have left a generous tip. But our server was amazingly friendly and kept us entertained whenever he walked by our table. I have never had a better server! The second time we went (a Tuesday evening) it was quiet and we had no problem getting a seat. The amazing server was not there but the staff were relaxed and the food was equally as good.
The food is unbeatable.
We ordered:
- Sangaria
- Chipotle Jalapeno Cheese Pupusa
- 2 Mojitos
- 2 Vegetarian Combination Platter #2 (salad, burrito, 2 pupusas, 1 enchilada)
- Vegetarian Combination Platter # 3 (salad, burrito, 1 pupusa, 2 tamal, 1 enchilada)
In my opinion the thing that makes the food exceptional is the care the people take in making it. They also make plain (unseasoned) beans taste wonderful. The pupusas and the tamal's are extraordinary and the enchilada's made every other enchilada look pathetic. In contrast, the burrito and the salad seemed fairly standard. The mojitos were very good. The sangaria is not very sweet, which is a requirement for me.
All in all it was a wonderful time, the food was a good price, and I would recommend the place to anyone. However, I would also tell them that they need to make a reservation or they will spend the whole evening waiting for food. -

Always enjoy coming here. The food is consistently good and authentic. Prices are very reasonable. The service can be a little hit and miss sometimes but I love the family that runs this restaurant! They are always smiling and eager to please. Always an enjoyable experience.

Shared the vegan platter for two + got a pupusa. Now I thought the pupusas were FANTABULOUS, but the burrito platter...not so much. I don't even think the nachos portion should have been included because the vegan version only consisted of tortilla chips with a watery and bland salsa. (:/) I was disappointed by the fact that there was no texture in the salsa, it was basically a cold tomato soup. The burrito was ok, but it was missing the tomato and lettuce. It was just rice and beans and you really can't go wrong with that. The avocado was placed on top instead of inside the burrito which was a tad inconvenient. Nothing was horrible but most things were average except the pupusas. Cute restaurant though and friendly staff!

La Fiesta is a family owed restaurant that serves El Salvadorian food. I was here on a Sunday a few weeks ago. I was rather disappointed with how slow the service was and how limited the selection of items was on the Sunday menu. The only items that were available to choose from were pupusa, quesadilla, yuca frita (deep fried cassava), tamales and maybe one or two more items. The regular dishes including burritos, enchiladas and others were unavailable.
In contrary, due to the limited dish selection that were available on the Sunday, the restaurant offered a number of specials/discounts, which was something I appreciated very mcuh and it definitley was an incentive for costumers to come back.
At my visit, I'm not sure what the occasion was but during our meal, a man in full El Savaroean costume came by and put on a lovely traditional performance. He came by our table and sang a few folk songs. He even explained the story behind the tune. What an experience! This might be something you can request if you'd like a special performance on a special occasion.
In terms of food, they are good but they're definitely not nearly as good as Mercadito Latino. I would come back again only if there's a reason to. -

I give them kudos for having a big menu with many veg options. However, I do have to say that we were a bit disappointed with the quality. Mainly it seemed that a lot of the flavors were out of a can or bottle, most notably the beans. In the past when I've gotten pupusas at a restaurant they have been served with a house-made hot sauce and/or pickled cabbage slaw, but here they came with only a tiny (maybe ~2 tablespoons worth) bit of watery tomato salsa. It was barely enough to taste if spread over part of one pupusa, let alone three whole ones. The only hot sauce was off-the-shelf Tapatio.
The corn portion of the pupusas was solid, and their Tamales were good, so they are almost there. If Fiesta would just up their salsa and hot sauce game, and make their own beans...
